  • Dorzolamide is used in the eye to decrease the pressure caused by primary glaucoma. If glaucoma is diagnosed in one eye, this medication may be used in the other eye (good eye) to prevent glaucoma from developing. Dorzolamide is also used in secondary glaucoma because it has no effect on pupil size.

These medications may also be combined with antifungal agents and/or corticosteroids.

Topical antifungal medications include miconazole, clotrimazole, nystatin and thiabendazole. These medications may be combined with corticosteroids, which are used to decrease inflammation.

  • Enalapril is an angiotensin-converting-enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. This medication may be used to treat high blood pressure and to dilate the veins and decrease fluid retention in heart failure.
