Dental Care Recommendations

Brushing your pet’s teeth daily is the BEST home care practice for dental health.

We have finger toothbrushes for puppies & kittens, and hand-held pet toothbrushes for adult pets with variety of (non-foaming) toothpastes.(Poultry, Seafood, Beef and Vanilla Mint flavored)

If you are not brushing regularly, or in addition to brushing, we have the following home care dental products:

Oxyfresh Oral Hygiene Solution – drinking water additive

Butler Clean and Fresh Spray - daily oral rinse

CET Oral Hygiene Rinse – daily oral rinse

Greenies – chewable treats

CET Chews – chewable, edible flat rawhides

Oral ATPs (assessment, treatment, prevention) are done under closely monitored general anesthesia.

We will scale, polish, chart and fluoride each individual tooth in the mouth.

Annual Oral ATPs should be done as soon as dental tartar touches the gumline. Timely cleaning helps to limit periodontal disease and the circulation of bacteria throughout the body.
