We strive to have clients feel that they and Bridgton Veterinary Hospital are working together as a team to keep their pet happy and healthy.
We have great longevity in our staff, several employees have been here over a decade and three are approaching their 20 year anniversaries. We also work closely with the University of Maine Augusta Veterinary Technology Program. We happily take students on for their externships to complete their degree and the majority have stayed on to work with us after. Many have developed special interests in various areas such as dentistry, nutrition, diabetes, and small animal medicine and spend time outside of the office studying these fields. Our new doctor will enjoy an enthusiastic team with a true love for veterinary medicine.
Bridgton Veterinary Hospital has been in operation for 32 years. We have many clients who have been with us as long as the practice has been open. We have Idexx in-house laboratory equipment., digital radiology (including dental), surgical suite, and dedicated dental suite, both with full set ups of anesthetic monitoring equipment. We utilize Impromed infinity as our practice management software. It is important to our practice to provide our clients with detailed medical notes and plans when they leave the clinic after their pets visit.
We are very lucky to have two fabulous referral hospitals within an hours drive of our facility, Maine Veterinary Medical Center and Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care. Both of the facilities offer 24 hour emergency care as well as specialists in neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, oncology, internal medicine, and rehabilitation. We work closely with these practices on a regular basis.
The clinic is located in Bridgton, Maine, minutes from Long Lake, a very popular summer destination for people all over New England.
